I think we're being a bit overly negative here. Not a great performance by any means but getting three points is the main objective. We played much better at Tannadice and against M'well but dropped points in those matches. The defence still looks shaky and we're not nearly clinical enough - both these aspects need improvement.

Back four with Lundstram back in midfield. I wouldn't be starting McGregor, Aribo, Arfield or Kamara...but what do I know.

Playing domestic fixtures overseas is annoying enough when it's English or Spanish clubs but when it's your own team taking the most important fixture in Scotland over to the other side of the world it's beyond galling. I understand the financial benefits but the reaction of the support, which may well include financial repercussions, should surely be taken into account when making these decisions (which is why I blame Robertson and the PR team more than Bisgrove).

I think the homecoming for Postelacogu or whatever he's called aspect is being over-emphasised. They are scum and we should have nothing to do with them (other than the obvious obligations we have to fulfill). It's that simple.

I'd have dropped McGregor after the Dingwall debacle. His performances since then have done nothing to alter my view.

I'd start Lowry instead of Arfield or Aribo, both of whom have looked a bit off the boil recently. A more pressing issue though is who starts in goal. Should be McCrorie or McLaughlin but I think GvB will stick with McGregor.

This is quite an important step in the victims getting justice. The comments made by Celtic's lawyer did seem pretty desperate but you never know with the current Scottish legal set-up. When you pass it side-to-side for several minutes before shooting, you're giving the opposition plenty of time to organise. Motherwell, much like Dundee United previously, were throwing themselves all over the place to block shots. We need to get the ball forward quicker. Kent is often great at taking on a man (or two) but then just passes it back or balloons it over the bar - the end product isn't good enough. Sakala isn't terribly dissimilar, in that respect. Teams only need to attack us for 5-10 minutes per game in order to score. The goalkeeper needs dropped because it's clear the defenders no longer trust him, which results in them making mistakes too.

Some games you get angry at but yesterday I found myself just shaking my head. So disappointing to pass up the chance to gain ground on that lot. The defensive issues are obvious and need sorted out, fast.
