  1. I've went for Lundstram - I thought his workrate was exceptional and he scored a screamer. On a sidenote, that bit of defending by Ramsey at the end really summed the performance up.
  2. I'm still coming to terms with last night's performance/result. I thought they'd beat us comfortably. That third goal - an absolute classic.
  3. Heartwarming. 😀
  4. Bodo/Glimt are a decent side, who put up a far better performance at the Piggery than we did. As much as I enjoy mocking the nonce facilitating yahoo vermin, they were beaten by a decent side this evening. Our job is to beat them too - shouldn't be too difficult.
  5. What a day/night to be a Teddy Bear. This is 'wildest dream' territory. I also have a soft spot for Partizan Belgrade, who won in Prague (a black chap scored the only goal). I'm glad I have parental duties tonight because otherwise I'd be on one. 😀
  6. Can I just say I thought their two goals could've been avoided. We gave them a bit too much space in the final third at times. I thought Lundstram was terrific tonight.
  7. Brandt, Hazard, Malen, Guerreiro, Meunier, Reyna, Dahoud. I think valium might be more use than beer this evening.
  8. Reus against Barisic or Bassey is a very worrying prospect.
  9. Midfield is huge is we want to stop them. Although Jack is the best of the bunch, I'm not sure I'd start him tomorrow night, as we have more important games ahead. Playing two holding midfielders might be worthwhile (Lundstram and Sands/Jack). I'd go with (4-2-3-1): McGregor Tav Goldson Bassey Barisic. Lundstram Sands. Sakala Aribo Kent. Morelos A tough night lies ahead but we've overcome bigger obstacles. Mon The Rangers! 🇬🇧
  10. Given Dortmund's firepower and our defensive issues, I must say I'm not particularly looking forward to tomorrow night's match. A potential hammering is on the cards.
  11. The PSG Ultra songbook is the most dull, generic crap I have ever heard. I can't watch their matches with the sound on. City pumping Sporting 3-0.
  12. Cup ties are all about winning, particularly away from home. Dundee will no doubt be well up for it, so we'll need to be on our toes.
  13. Away allocations were always going to return. Did anyone expect otherwise?
  14. From the day Whyte took over until last May is just a big mish-mash of anger, frustration, confusion and sadness. Never a good idea to forget hard times but I wish I could, in this instance.
  15. I can't see Maloney lasting long in that job. He looks clueless.
  16. Lowry definitely has something about him. I voted Helendar, mainly because it was great to have him back and he scored the first.
  17. It is a plastic pitch and not a good one. I've stated my opinion on playing Helendar and Ramsey but the management team will know better than me.
  18. Wright, Davis and Ramsay as a middle three is interesting. Glad to see the Polish lad get a start.
  19. Primary tactic: playing long balls against minnows, like Annan, was the second thing that made me realise McCoist was never a manager (Malmo was the first).
  20. Anyone else remember losing 2-1 to Annan at Ibrox? I can't remember anything about the match (thankfully) but do remember looking at a fellow Bear, sitting a few seats away, just before the final whistle and us both shaking our heads in disbelief. One of the lowest points.
  21. We won't be seeing a traditional front two anytime soon. It's so unlikely, it is barely worth discussing. The problem at the Piggery was the wingers and full-backs were all isolated because the wingers weren't tracking back and the full-backs weren't attacking, which suited the yahoo wide tactics down to a tee.
  22. And the opposition too. I'd prefer us to set up a couple of bounce matches for them but that's just my opinion.
