He is a very hot and cold player but he's definitely going through a chilly spell just now (and has been most of the season). Hopefully he can sort himself out and get back to his best but on recent form, Bassey is undoubtedly first choice LB.

I thought it was poor. The Dortmund fans did their generic Ultra crap and we spent the whole night waiting for things to happen. We were noisy near the end but before that we were a crap support. Shows how far standards are dropping if anyone thinks that was even acceptable, never mind good.

Just home. A happy Bear. Thought the atmosphere was generally poor. Thought Dortmund ran all over us in the first half but our second half performance was absolutely immense. Fans: 6/10. Players: 8.5/10. Nice to put such a renowned side out. Who's next?

Were you at the match? My pal who was there said he didn't have a clue what was going on during the VAR checks. Tension, yes but mainly due to ignorance.

It's usually announced in other leagues. I disagree. A participant club may not wish to meet the costs of VAR, for whatever reason but should still have the right to criticise or question poor decisions.

They've changed the handball rules a couple of times recently. I don't think the rules are clear - it's open to interpretation.
