  1. Your questions are entirely valid. For me, Roofe is the most intelligent, creative forward, Morelos is like a bull in a China shop and Hagi always has a trick up his sleeve. Wright has been good but not as good as those three. Kent, on his day, is a nightmare to play against but he's far too inconsistent. Aribo should also be considered. Like Kent, he can be fantastic or a nonentity.
  2. Just back from the game and thoroughly enjoyed the evening. Thought we played great for long spells. I know it's only Dunfermline but the interplay on the edge of their box was sublime at times and we need to do that more often in every match. I'd play Hagi, Morelos and Roofe in a front three for big games.
  3. Who we sell will depend on bids made. Who we buy will depend on who we sell and how much for. CL elimination will mean at least one or two key players will have to be sold, I'd have thought.
  4. Hopefully it is Armenia, from a geographical perspective. When there, our squad could visit the place where Noah's Ark rested or the birthplace of the Kardashians, both equally significant. I bet Khloe and Kourtney would love our lilac top.
  5. I said at 75 minutes last night that we could play for hours and not score again. I have said similar and been proved wrong before though. Switch it wide, cross it, lose the ball, get it back, switch it wide, cross it, lose the ball, get it back...yadda, yadda, yadda...
  6. There will always be justified and unjustified criticisms at Rangers games. That's just our way. However, the ticket situation is something that the club should be looking to fix ASAP. Quite simply, the system isn't good enough (season ticket holders having to log onto a poorly designed site for over 30 minutes in order to purchase their tickets and smart cards not working properly).
  7. Their second goal knocked the stuffing out of the team and the support. Euro nights at Ibrox bring out a lot of people who don't attend otherwise. These are usually either a bit too drunk/animated or don't seem to know any songs at all. Unfortunately, last night there were more of the latter (certainly where I was sitting).
  8. Agreed. Some instinctive moans and groans are inevitable but a lot of the criticism really undermines what a support should be all about. I have a feeling the atmosphere on Friday night will be reminiscent of sitting in a cemetery (the UBs will be like birds chirping in the trees).
  9. Didn't exactly go well last night. I missed the first six minutes and thousands were still queueing when I got in. Smart cards weren't working and the stewards couldn't help and were advising people to go to the 'Police gates'. On top of that, I've been informed that Bar72 is a bit of a shambles. Seems punters in there are paying twice the price for a worse set-up. The club really need to make sure supporters are treated better.
  10. Gerrard wasn't overly critical in his post-match presser. I wonder if that's how he actually feels?
  11. I'm unaware of any broken legs resulting in substantial economic benefit.
  12. If us occasionally having an orange strip annoys someone, I'd recommend they come to terms with it because it isn't going away. I'd certainly have preferred orange to lilac.
  13. I'd have played Helander.
  14. Orange was introduced, as everyone knows, as a homage to our Dutch players, in the early 2000s. It always sells very well and as such, should be used fairly regularly. ???
  15. The next/fourth top is going to be white. I'd prefer it if we had a blue home shirt and red/white away shirts. If a fourth shirt is required, it could be orange or black. The lilac top is underwhelming.
  16. Our next outing is against Dunfermline. The changes (if any) made for next Thursday will be more interesting. Certain players never seem to get dropped - Kent and Goldson in particular.
  17. I can't believe people are still pining for Candeias (or Windass). I was glad to see the back of them.
  18. Just back from the match. We certainly look a bit out of sorts. The entire defence was poor. Goldson has reverted back to panic mode and Tav and Barisic are being found out by solid defenders. I though Davis was our best player tonight. Aribo tried but Arfield, Wright and Kent didn't do much. Morelos was his usual self (good in spells). We need to learn to play through the middle more.
  19. How's Josh getting on these days? ?
  20. I agree and that's why I never feel comfortable when we sit on a 1-0 lead against lesser opposition (that's just a general moan).
  21. There were plenty of defensive lapses last season but usually the opposition weren't good enough to take advantage. Things need tightened up.
  22. There will always be an overreaction when we lose. Losing two on the trot is viewed as a mini crisis at Rangers. It's all a bit ridiculous but that's just the way it is.
  23. Interesting.
  24. I think we missed Roofe yesterday. The lack of creative players in the team and on the bench was a concern. Aribo was the only player who looked capable of creating something. Kent was poor on Tuesday and yesterday. The reason he is still at Rangers is his inconsistency and it looks like he's hitting another dry spell.
  25. Kent was poor but Aribo was easily our best player today.
