I think demands that any players breaching Covid restrictions are sacked are just daft. It sets a dangerous precedent (imagine if next time it was Kent, Morelos, Hagi and Barisic - would we want them all sacked?). It's economically silly (players are financial assets). The restrictions seem to have been made up on the spot by people playing a guessing game. They're young men, probably missing a bit of female attention - giving them a warning should be sufficient.

Not really. Issuing a generic statement would be worse. And I'm not sure cowardice is what he really means but he is a bitter hack, devoid of rationale when it comes to Rangers, so who knows. I don't get this desire for an immediate statement regarding something this serious. Particularly on the back of an edited then re-edited etc. report by an organisation several victims have already stated they don't trust (neither do I).

Spiers' tantrum Tweet sums up his infantile and deranged hatred of Rangers. As for the club's response to the SFA report, wouldn't it be better to take the necessary time and steps to do the right thing, for the victims first and foremost, than to just issue a largely pointless box-ticking statement. I hope the club do do the right thing.

We'll miss Morelos and Roofe, who both offer different problems for opposition defenders but it gives Itten a chance to have a go up front. It was a dive. The main issue with the retrospective process we're witnessing is that TV pundits seem to be prompting it. It seems to focus mainly on matches involving us and that lot, which demonstrates, quite clearly, its inconsistent methodology. I'm sure there are nasty tackles during Kilmarnock vs Ross County and Hamilton vs Motherwell matches but no one seems to notice or care. The whole thing is a farce.

Rangers could win 7-0 every week and some of us would still find something to moan about (me included). I think it's a bit of a Scottish trait and although it seems entirely negative, continually looking to improve isn't a bad thing. Kent does a lot of good work and when he's on form, he's terrific. However, there are definitely areas where he could do better.
