I work in alignment with teams in Poland and India, as well as having higher management in Manchester and despite the ease of communication there are often issues. Face to face interactions often have most impact. I'm not totally stuck in the past. BigJaws - I didn't mean everyday Rangers fans. I meant living in Scotland would perhaps give King a better understanding of how the club is thought of. Not just by us either.

I'd say it's preferable for people involved in the running of any football club to reside fairly close. It's not essential but I don't think it's ideal when our main shareholder resides in the Southern hemisphere. It's easier to get a feel for something when you're closer to it more often. Perhaps if King interacted with Rangers people face to face a bit more often he'd get a better perspective. Mind you, I'm a bit old fashioned.

Do we have a good midfield tackler available (assuming MCrorie is out)? I see us being overrun there - only Holt really puts a proper shift in.

I certainly haven't seen anything quite so blatantly disparaging about another club by a well-known journalist. It's childish at best. Why have a go at the current board with the "religious apartheid" comment too. Apart from the factual inaccuracies, our most famous RC signing occurred nearly 30 years ago when the club was under entirely different stewardship. Did a Rangers fan steal Leckie's one true love or something?

A mate just showed me this article, which stems from the situation with McInnes last week. I think the headline is something about "Spiteful Statement". In it, Leckie mentions "religious apartheid" and "Castle Greyskull", as well as other such nonsense. The article could be a post from Kerrydale Street, the way it's written and the jargon used. I hate The Sun newspaper with a passion. I really hope someone from the club has a word with them about this. Extremely petty and a poor excuse for journalism. Has anyone told Leckie that Castle Greyskull was the home of the good guys in He-Man or is he just another bitter Rangers-hater with no interest in actual facts?
