There are too many pressers these days. They're generally boring because managers can't really/honestly speak about the things we want them to. Having said that, Gerrard was far better than GvB or Beale on that front.

Caring as much about how you look as actually fixing a problem is a soft approach to life. Better just admitting you made a mistake and fixing it.

People from hilly countries (ie. Scotland and Japan) are smaller than people from flat countries (ie. the Netherlands and Senegal). Give us a few thousand years of mixed race evolution and we'll catch up.

With young Scottish players over the years, I think drink and women have often been big factors in them not filling their potential.

Barker was rubbish. End of. I thought Rossiter had the makings of a good midfielder but the injury problems just wouldn't go away. A curveball from me - I thought Pena was pretty good. Obviously had a drink/attitude problem but the lad could definitely create and score goals.
