I don't really understand what it is you want. You acknowledge we cannot get rid of everyone but then state we shouldn't have brought in a manager to get a tune out of the current squad. We need a bit of both.

I actually get annoyed whenever I hear it, particularly the Man Utd version. It's like taking Brigitte Bardot and turning her into Katie Price. Most of the more traditional Rangers and Loyalist songs have similar rhythmic changes that the drum ruins. Follow Follow and UDR4 are particularly awful when the drum is an accompaniment.

That may be the case but actual drummers can be very useful. Unfortunately, the lads with drums at Ibrox aren't actual drummers - they're just people hitting something and ruining some good songs. They sort of remind me how English fans have horribly bastardised Hello Hello, showing a complete lack of understanding of why it's such a good chant (hint: it's the rubato).

I always think 4-4-2, with a midfield diamond, is the best formation. But I'm a bit of a fuddy duddy. Playing two deep midfielders at home to St Mirren and the like just feels like a waste of a player.
