I think we should just stick to calling them sheep-shaggers and Betamax FC. Having said that, I come from a rural part of Scotland but we're a bit classier down in the Borders and prefer goats.

I think Ridvan has potential. I like his 'keen to go forward' approach and I think his crossing has improved a bit recently. Too early to write him off and I don't really think Barisic is someone we should be keeping around for much longer.

Speaking of wide players, I've seen a few mentions of us taking Ryan Kent back on loan. That would really, really disappoint me and I hope it's just 'journalists' doing the 2 + 2 = 5.

GvB and the Cockney Caixinha didn't inherit messed up squads, like Clement has. I think most of us will give him some more leeway because of that. Blaming Rangers supporters for the sackings of GvB and Beale is an odd take anyway. GvB had lost the squad and didn't have what it takes and Beale should never have been appointed in the first place. They were both lucky they lasted so long.

Take it up with our successive managers. I'd assume managers will generally pick their best team or go with players they know or think they can rely on, particularly when there's no margin for error.

I have no idea why some fans get so hung up on the young player thing. We're not a normal club and we don't have games that aren't must win. We recently sold a couple of youth players for decent money (Gilmour and Patterson).

Meanwhile, the Scousers gleefully sang "Lizzie's in a box" at Ibrox and various other grounds last season. That song is specifically mocking a person dying, whereas the 'always the victims' chant doesn't reference death or Hillsborough. Such blatant hypocrisy should be called out.

What did they sing specifically in relation to the deaths of fans? I only heard GSTK and the usual 'always the victims' one, which is more of a general point about that support and their never-ending hypocrisy.

I was raised to be 'colourblind' and correctly so but recent diversity courses at work have advised me that being 'colourblind' means you're ignoring other people's 'lived in experiences' and as such it can lead to unconscious bias and even covert racism. I kid you not.

Some of the fouls the referee was ignoring were great to watch. Folk getting headbutted and wrestled to the ground, with no foul given - top notch entertainment! Is there a specific player we're looking at, @craig? I doubt many of the players would make it 'til half time in a Rangers jersey, after Cantwell's booking yesterday.
