  1. Posting on FF again.
  2. Chilled bear , it was explained by one of the posters who originally posted about Ellis , people on FF were going mental about there being no announcement by the club and he came on and tried to explain what was going to happpen this weekend , in his opinion and the opinion of the person he knew inside the club , hope that helps. Thanks, so the guy [scgers?] is over in Vegas?
  3. If I don't want to read about a certain subject, I stay away from the thread. Especially when there is no mistaking the title.
  4. rbr You'll probably not answer this but I will try anyway ..... explained to you by whom? Do we know for certain Ellis is over there?
  5. I'll join the rest and commend Maineflyers post. Tho' how many of the present Board, the ones who will, or will not, recommend any takeover []. Sat on their arses during these years that Maineflyer has talked about. Including ones who some would have as new owners.
  6. It says a great deal about the way Rangers do not plan ahead, when Boyd has been allowed to leave for zilch. We should be savvy enough to think ahead where contracts are concerned, transferring early if need be.
  7. Is it possible ......... someone [say MB], as part of his contract, could buy so many shares at 25p each?
  8. Aye, but I would be at Ibrox.
  9. You'd be his first pick.
  10. What are you on about Derrys Walls?? :robbo:
  11. Be carefull, Wabash is agreeing with GS.
  12. Agree whole heartedly. The visiting commentator from overseas, was so British [English] from years ago.
  13. Bumble is the man.
  14. A fair few egos being put on view over there. If this 'takeover' had any plus marks at all, it should have opened a few eyes.
  15. . M. sitting at the keyboard with steam coming out of his ears. Synchronized Maineflyer.
  16. It should be................. NL------ Ellis takeover Wabash----Ellis no takeover Loser gives £20 to Charity.
  17. Not sure about this.
  18. Any idea who is in the consortium?
  19. The Ellis deal is done - this has been confirmed by someone very much in the know, I wanted to name my source but after discussions admin, they will verify Ellis will also take over as the new chairman and be very much hands on He is part of a consortium which involves people who most definitely have the cash, believe me Certain things I can't stick up on this board and won't share via PM either, but I don't think we will have to wait long at all Posted on FF.
  20. Love the socks.
  21. From todays ET. But Ellis said today: ââ?¬Å?It has been a long process, but I am due to meet with Sir David Murray this week. ââ?¬Å?Itââ?¬â?¢s not the first time I have met him. I have been up in Edinburgh a couple of times for meetings before, but I would rather not comment further about this meeting. When something happens, it will be reported.ââ?¬Â http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/editor-s-picks-ignore/supporters-tell-ellis-it-s-time-to-put-up-or-shut-up-1.1030110
  22. Should we look at the interview AJ gave last week in another way. Was he hinting that the Ellis bid will never be made, in fact there was never any chance of a bid from the beginning. He was told he could have no direct contact with Ellis, yet it was Johnsons remit from Murray, to find a buyer and sell the Club. He says he arranged meetings that were eventually called off, yet Ellis says he never knew about them. Is someone deliberately keeping AJ and Ellis apart. At the moment it looks like Ellis, or the status quo for next season, yet groups like RST are being very dismissive of Ellis. I have read this morning, someone in the RST saying ' There will be no bid by Ellis'. Smoke and Mirrors right to the end, if there is an end.
  23. Yes, and perhaps in the long run it would be for the best.
  24. As long as we are winning on the park, the vast majority will be happy.
  25. Sky Sports News understands Andrew Ellis will meet Rangers owner David Murray next week to discuss his takeover of the club. London-based property developer Ellis is heading a consortium who are considering a reported £33million bid for the debt-ridden Ibrox club. Ellis is prepared to pay off the club's debts and he is also willing to invest in the SPL champions' playing staff. It is understood that Ellis will meet Murray in Edinburgh on Tuesday next week regarding his continued attempts to purchase Rangers. Earlier this week, Ellis responded to criticism from Gers chairman Alastair Johnston that the proposed takeover 'has gone on way too long - so let's just say I am sceptical about it'. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11788_6166705,00.html Ellis said of the comments: "I'm surprised to be honest, very surprised. I wasn't very happy when I learned of his comments and I think he is being unfair. "I don't understand where he is coming from. I've never had a meeting arranged with Alastair Johnston and he has never requested a meeting with me. "If I have offended him then I apologise and I apologise if it is taking longer than normal. It is taking time because there are an awful lot of things to go through." Send to friend
