  1. I know Walker has agendas, but when Rangers put a really good move together, passing, movement, it is never said how good a move it was. Not only Walker, we never seem to get any praise for the football, only committed, hard to break down etc. I thought some of the football yesterday was as good as I have seen all season.
  2. These online forums are informative and fun, they do not represent the vast majority of Rangers Supporters. About time some people realised this.
  3. If you were constantly under attack, would you not want to answer/explain. It's a Football Club not Stalanist Russia.
  4. Muir is on the Board, why doesn't he talk to us? Rangers are not a normal business, he should comunicate with the Support. The impression is he is being told keep quiet.
  5. Maineflyer says something everyone agrees with.:spl:
  6. This was posted on FF by the RST Rep at the meeting. The above statement was agreed between those present. Before he started speaking did make the point that he would be legally constrained regarding the particulars of any negotiations regarding the sale of the club. However, most of what has been in the papers does seem to be accurate in general if not in the specific. With regard to sale of the club he said one serious approach has been made and is ongoing. Potential buyers need to discuss with the bank regarding their ability to manage the debt; to Murray to buy the shares; and then RFC directors so that they can make a recommendation to existing shareholders. Muir's position. Said he represents Murray Group interests on the board of RFC.
  7. I may be wrong but is the pic not one they made earlier.
  8. I do not think Bain would have the authority to answer any question of importance, nor would he actually say what he was thinking, unlike Smith. Whereas WS would have the support of the fans, if any action was taken against him, Bain would not. Was there not a rep from the RST at the meeting?
  9. It's they Masons in the Sky.
  10. It's a good start that all Groups have come together. Also that what we want are answers, not aimless protests about Banks.
  11. And still Murray isn't mentioned, why the Chairman, he is only there to deflect attention. It's like the various companies that are set up for tax purposes etc. Murray has others to take the flak, but he is the owner and in the end will decide.
  12. As long as Murray/Muir stay silent, the vacuum will be filled by guesses and rumour, that is all Edgar was asking for. A wee ditty for you. http://www.last.fm/music/The+Carter+Family/_/Wabash+Cannonball
  13. http://goal.com/en/news/89/africa/2010/02/05/1777228/algeria-rangers-defender-madjid-bougherra-claims-the-arab-ballon- Madjid Bougherra has won the Arabian Ballon dOr after his exploits with the Algerian national side and also Rangers, with whom he plays his club football. The 27-year-old centre-back has claimed the prize, which is organised by Lebanese newspaper Elhadath Erriadh and comprises of a vote conducted by 158 journalists from 17 Arabian countries. Moroccos Marouane Chamakh and Egypts Ahmed Chokri fill the other podium positions. French-born Bougherra started his professional career with French outfit Gueugnon before making a successful transition to British football. Initially he turned out in England for Crewe Alexandra, Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton Athletic, but since 2008 he has been a lynchpin of Rangers rearguard. Over the course of 2009, the centre-back had several memorable moments, though his highlights would likely be a stunning solo goal against Stuttgart in the Champions League and aiding Algeria to the World Cup finals at the expense of Egypt. Bougherra is the first Algerian to win the gong since Rabah Madjer claimed the title back in 1987.
  14. Surely we should know who is going to benefit from the protest. I would like to know who is in this consortium, or at least for there to be a figurehead who I can trust.
  15. I thought he mentioned a protest at the end of the Radio Scotland debate. I may be wrong however, I didn't have 100% reception.
  16. I think the Assembly was supposed to have someone on Real Radio last night. The guy called off and DE stood in for him.
  17. Thanks for the reports, enjoy reading them.
  18. It's these people opinions I am talking about. Wind yer neck in.
  19. ''To others he is a relic of the way football used to be played, safety first and at times boring''. Load of rubbish mate.:box: Apart from that I hope we can all join together.
  20. Does WS really have to scaremonger? Smith could walk away today, do we think at his age he is doing this for monetary gain?
  21. Why does Murray/Muir not comment, why leave the field clear for Smith. Hopefully WS is not finished, reading other forums it's just starting.
  22. I think I'll go with Walter on this one. If Smith is wrong, why the silence from Muir? He is on the Board, let him speak as a 'Rangers Supporter'. The manager is right or he is talking out of his arse.
  23. Taken from FF, posted by User Barrybaldy. We were warned 4 months ago... -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.heraldscotland.com/news/h...ngers-1.928574 Guys, I told you at the time Darrell King had been given this from high - most probably Walter Smith. Every word of that story is now coming true, much as it hurts. My understanding right now is that Muir is blocking any attempts for bank talks with Dave King, who did make an £18m bid which Muir told the bank to reject. Muir has told the bank 'I'll get you every penny back' I am told he gets a sizeable fee if he brokers a sale - and it won't be to King on the cheap if he has his way. King, and his people, have clearly been behind the negative PR against the bank, most of which has been done in Herald Group papers. I am told Muir has even tried to go after Darrell King by pressuring his editor, and a furious battle is raging internally on every Gers/finance story. Meantime, we are nowhere near being saved.
