  1. A cheaper price for who exactly? Even in third world countries you have names on the ballot papers.
  2. AV and B'ham do not need Boyd, why would they spend anything on at best, a squad player, when they can get him for free in the summer.
  3. Also Boyd can pocket a few shillings, when his new Club doesn't pay a transfer fee. This waiting till 6 months before the end of a players contract, is not the way to run a football club.
  4. Some are saying the new contract from Rangers, hasn't the banks approval. Do we need it? If he does want to leave, why now when he can go for free in the summer? Seems a no brainer to me.
  5. I don't think it was a co-incidence, our best spell for a long time [December] we had width and pace. Unfortunately both are injury prone, and with no money, we have to play players who are out of position. I can see WS playing Davis and Whittaker wide this Saturday, and a makeshift strike force will mean we could struggle. I wonder if instead of fitting players into a formation no matter what, it wouldn't be more benificial to set the formation to the players strengths.
  6. Sasa best for me, another impressive attacking performance. I wish Weir would just give the ball to someone else, the nearer the better. Whittaker I just don't what to make of him, he was left mid last Saturday and couldn't give a 5 yard pass to a team-mate. Whether it's his concentration that lets him down, but the first goal gave him confidence and he seemed to take it from there. I thought Fleck improved greatly when he was moved inside. He must get a run of games in his natural position before too long. Davis, another one who showed the difference when playing in his best position. Miller could [should] have had a hat-trick, makes great runs, but his finishing still lets him down. Finally just to say, I would have big Lee in my team every game, central partnership of McCulloch and Davis for Saturday.
  7. I don't think Walter or Bain would be too unhappy, if there were a few banners putting some more pressure on Muir/Lloyds.
  8. ''Anyone got any ideas why the Reid banner was in red ? They have no connection to that colour whatsoever'' At a guess it's because they say he has 'blood on his hands'. Stupid muckers! :spl:
  9. I've always thought the H of F was a joke, now I know it is.
  10. With 'Friends' like these:confused: Lets highlight Rangers Supporters, and ignore everyone else.
  11. As someone who was against Adams transfer, especially at £500,000. I have not noticed his fitness improving, any time I have seen Blackpool he still looks knackered in the last 15 minutes.
  12. I championed the 4-5-1/4-3-3 at the start of the season, but I do not think we have the players to carry it out.
  13. After reading all the verbal diarrhea........ We should stop singing certain songs because they are old, and let's not forget, certain people find them offensive.
  14. Agree about the full backs, they couldn't afford to attack with Beasley and Novo running at them. I also thought pressing the ball further up the park made a big difference last night. Usually the opposing midfield get to much space and time against us. Very satisfying last night. Lets see if we can stay at the top for a bit longer this time.
  15. I have posted a video showing the 1963 Rangers v Real Madrid game, watch it and you will hear Derrys Walls, that was nearly 50 years ago. I was among the crowd singing that night, and believe me The Sash was sung as well. The auld yin who was in his fifties was with me that night, and I can assure you it wasn't the first time he had sung these songs at Ibrox. Now to some this might not make it a tradition, but don't tell me we can't sing these songs at Ibrox.
  16. Another so called Rangers Fan sells out to the highest bidder.
  17. I think you are wrong, it would be one of the reasons why I am not fully supportive of Supporters on the Board.
  18. In answer to the following post on FF........ ''However could it be the case that the consortium is allowing Mr Duffy to appear as the front, whilst the real players are working away in the background ''? Barrybaldy [who is you know who] said....''Scanning through this thread, I'd pay more attention to this post than any other''.
  19. I think Boss article made the doubts more profound. The interview today does not make things any better. Duffy will not be at the AGM, nor will any other members of the 'consortium'. We will have to wait off course till we hear more, lets hope there is more gravitas when someone else raises their head.
  20. If it was that lot from the other side, we would be laughing our heads off at this guy. No way is he Rangers Class, and if he is part of a consortium it doesn't say much for the rest if they are letting him do the talking.
  21. Quite a few new poster recently, on Gersnet and FF.
  22. Is it Duffy we should be worrying about, I would say it is the thousands of Rangers Supporters who they need to invest THEIR money. Everything I can find out about Duffy and the rest of 'the consortium', will be what I need before I will invest money.
  23. He doesn't fill me with confidence.
  24. ''As I have stated previously, between discounts and rewards the supporters should not be expending much more than they are at this time. It is difficult to complete this transition without some form of contribution and support. The supporters have voiced their wish to become an owner of the club. According to the last accounts Rangers had net assets of £113m, that is the stated assets; the supporters want ownership of the club and therefore the assets. To ask 45,000 members to contribute £1000 only raises £45m, not even half the value of the asset, this investment in turn is being used to eliminate any risk to that asset, which makes the asset even more secure, however this comes with a price and a commitment''. Is the figure quoted for the Net Assets correct??
