  1. Thanks for the reply, will certainly view.
  2. Between 1st and 21st Sep there will be 3 public meetings / hustings. Each candidate must attend at least 1 of these meetings to make themselves available to answer questions. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For those of us unable to attend these, will there be any minutes taken so we can read the questions and answers?
  3. A question to those who might know, I ticked the box for my money to be used for buying shares. Will I be able to find out how many of the members/£s have been voted for in each catagory?
  4. As much as Linfield were not up to much, perhaps it shows what we can do, when we are not up against a 9 man defence.
  5. We are no where good enough to win the League. I have my doubts about the Manager and his system, but his signings have been exceptional for the money. Hope i'm wrong.
  6. Been disappointing since the semi-final, MW has to pick the righ team.

  11. Done deal: Rangers have signed Joe Garner from Preston North End. Done deal: Rangers have signed Joe Garner from Preston North End. PA Rangers have secured the signing of striker Joe Garner from English Championship side Preston North End on a three-year-deal. The 28-year-old, whose Deepdale contract was set to expire in 2018, is Mark Warburton's 10th signing of the summer transfer window but won't be in the squad for Saturday's clash with Motherwell. STV revealed on Monday the club had all but accepted an offer of £1.5 million after Garner informed them of his desire to make the move north. The fee could rise to £1.7m based on adds on such as appearances while STV understands the Ibrox side will pay the initial £1.5m in two instalments, half this year and the remaining half next year. Garner will provide competition up front for goalscorers Martyn Waghorn and Joe Dodoo. He scored six goals in 44 appearances in England's second tier after finding the net 27 times in League One during the previous campaign. Speaking about Garner's qualities, Preston boss Simon Grayson told STV: "Rangers would get a player like we've had: competitive, scored goals in League One, he's got an eye for goal. "Any defender who has played against him knows how tough he is. He has a good attitude and he's a good lad." Rangers seal signing of Preston striker Joe Garner on a three-year deal bit.ly/2b5LdDu

  19. Taken from FF RANGERS have launched a multi-million pound legal action against the club’s former directors and billionaire tycoon Mike Ashley. The Gers allege that Charles Green, Imran Ahmad, Brian Stockbridge and Derek Llambias did not act in the business' best interests in a commercial deal with Sports Direct. The deals include an agreement for the naming rights to Ibrox which was sold off for just £1, despite the Light Blues' believing it is worth £500,000 a year. The Light Blues also believe that Mr Ashley unfairly benefited and assisted from the alleged negligence displayed by Mr Green and his colleagues, who are being sued in the Court of Session in Edinburgh. The Premiership side hope to recover a total of £4,106,470.83 from the action. They also want a civil judge to declare the Partnership Marketing Agreement void. The action came to light following a short hearing on Friday. Advocate Craig Sandison QC, who was appearing on behalf of Sports Direct and Mr Ashley, succeeded in his attempt to get Rangers to disclose documents to them. The lawyer argued that Sports Direct and Mr Ashley needed access to the documents to help them prepare for the case. Judge Lord Boyd agreed with Mr Sandison’s submissions and allowed both Sports Direct’s and Mr Ashley’s lawyers to access the documents. He added: “I am content to allow the motion.” The club’s legal team believe Mr Green, Mr Ahmad and Mr Stockbridge breached their “fiduciary” duties when they negotiated the “naming rights” for Ibrox stadium. The agreement was in existence for approximately two years but was never enacted. The directors who negotiated the deal claim that they didn’t do anything wrong. They say that if another company made a rival offer, Mr Ashley’s firm would have to make another offer at a competitive price to retain the rights. The club also object to the Partnership Marketing Agreement which was agreed in 2014. This allowed Sports Direct to secure advertising space at Ibrox. Lawyers acting for Rangers claim the advertising space was also sold for £1. They claim that Mr Llambias agreed that the agreement with Sports Direct should go ahead. Rangers claim that Mr Ashley “assisted” in the breach of the “fiduciary duties” owed by the directors to the club.
  20. Good memories of Dens Park. We used to take in the New Year in Dundee, and myself and my dad often went to Dundee v Aberdeen in the mid fifties. There were always decent players in OTHER teams back then.
  21. Must be played through the middle, enough of the right wing and Miller at centre.
  22. Hope this is good news, just seen this on twitter #Rangers' Martyn Waghorn injury update: "I'm optimistic everything will be alright, should know in a couple of days. I'm feeling good."
  23. You supported people who would have finished Rangers, that says it all for me.
  24. Defence poor as usual and for all our possesion we make very few chances.
