I don't know the purpose of this statement. The Board have already said we will be funded until the end of the season. I'm also wondering what they will think of the comment about getting a fan on the Board when there already are fans on the Board. I light of recent discussions I find this very confusing.

The idea is that all the organisations will cease to exist with the possible exception of the Association but talks are still at an early stage.

Derek, nobody from the RFFF has been involved in the meetings, unless you count Andy Kerr but he is there as a rep of the Assembly.

The new proposal goes way beyond shareholding.

I can only speak for the RST here but our understanding was that a simple question was going to be asked and the various groups would be putting it out at the same time. I was not in favour of the full document going out in full, especially the methodology as there has been actually no discussion about this. No discussion has even been had over whether a CIC model is even the most appropriate way to go, far less that we would use the RF one for shareholding and ours for other projects. The document should only have contained the general principles behind it and why it it is advantageous for all Rangers supporters. This goes way beyond shareholding.

Should have added that I spoke to Stewart about the disabled facilities and he confirmed that the Board has this high on their agenda.

I thought the night went well. John and Stewart came across as passionate and sincere. The highlight of the night for me, apart from meeting Bearger, was when Gordon Dinnie spoke about our activities and achievements over the last year.

If any Gersnet member wants to come to the RST AGM on Friday let me know. We have John Gilligan and Stewart Robertson attending and someone can ask the question. If you are a member in your own right then obviously you don't need to let me know but Gersnet has life membership.
