i read in 4/4/2 last month that lee wilkie is to give the game up if he gets another injury. then after that report i heard on the radio he had indeed not recovered as he would`ve hoped from his injury and he may well retire now. he`s only 25 and even though he`s shit, it`s too young for any player to retire.

yes, thats a good point that they will get first team experience in exchange, but to me it just loooked like rae was raiding the club under the pretence that he was doing us a favour of taking guys who are on the brink of the teams and who don`t often get a chance. to be honest dundee don`t have ANYONE gers would want anyway and first team experience is the most valuable thing we could get out of it.

technically boro have twelve weeks to write to the league managers association to say why they fel that southgate is suitable for the job. if they disagree then a whole load of other agencies get a casting vote followed by the managers of the premiership clubs themselves. a very hard way of appointing a manager, but i suppose you`ve got to start somewhere. i just feel this will all end in tears as he`s not suitably equiped to be a boss at the very top.

the thing about this is that at least the managers have an appreciation of glen roeder as he`s been managing for around 10 years now. i can see the league managers association kicking this decision into touch as it`s the equivelant of someone walking into your job who`s just out of school yet you`ve been in uni for 4 years learning how tto do this job. not a popular decision with the managers at all.

i thought it was a poor fernando ricksen lookalike until you said who it was. i don`t really remember what he looks like and he would`ve just walked buy me yet i`ve seen him play in england at the bridge. i`d love it if we got him.

i`ve got england putting argentina out in the quarters 2-1. not so sure of the results i put up now as i seem to have this thing for the ivory coast right now with me feeling like putting on a small fee on them winning the tourne now. with toure, the other arsenal boy, zokora, drogba and many more fine players i feel they`ve got a chance of getting to the semis.
