Just wondered what the general thoughts were in keeping Diouf for next season. I personally am not a fan and would hope that he is sent back to Blackburn but interested to see if anyone thinks he should be offered a contract.

dont want him full stop. hes been mediocre for the most part and carries baggage that the club can do without.

Would rather have Diouf than Beattie back, but Weiss and Bartley would be way ahead of Diouf.

 

We could get a lot worse players but if he doesnt stay on then its no great loss.

I think he started very well but his lack of pace means he's not an option for the Scottish game.

 

In saying that, you can usually see his obvious quality on the ball and his set-pieces are normally pretty good. Generally though he wouldn't be worth the money.

not for me, he clearly has a talent but I think his personality would be more of a hinderance in the long run to the team. He wouldn't be happy coming off the bench for the long run. The wages he would command would be better spent else where.

I think he'd make a good squad player but I don't think he'd want the kind of wages such a position brings at Ibrox. I'd take him on 10 grand a week but that's never going to happen.

I agree with Frankie on the pace issue. That's the main reason I'd say no.
