This was posted on my Rangers Facebook page

I am told that, because of the way the manager was carved up by the BBC last night on the news, with the above link highlighting what they did, severe sanctions were taken today.

Whyte and McCoist are raging at the way they have portrayed him and the BBC had all access withdrawn today, even though they are rights holders

Whyte is apparantly livid at the agenda being shown by this organisation.

The press conferenece was held up aftermatch until their guy was kicked out, and it then proceeded as normal.

Unless a full apology is made, they will be kept out.

Ian's link shows what this is all about.

Why are we getting hammered in all this debate? Why not the pubs, or the supermarkets who sell the booze that fuels the violence? Or the failings of society to address issues such as domestic abuse, knife crime etc. It's far too simplistic to blame football for every social problem that happens on a weekend that Rangers are playing Celtic.

It really pisses me off that everyone is getting away with this misrepresentation.

And the sooner that the media, and in particular the Beeb are brought to task the better.

Their role in this sorry farce is despicable. All in the name of selling news space.

We don't need any of them - they need us.

A football stadium full of drunk, angry, rival fans is merely the perfect stage for all of Scotland's ills to be put to the test.

Where else is there an opportunity for all "our" social problems to be gathered together in one venue ?

It's actually quite remarkable that no-one gets seriously hurt.

Meanwhile, there have been more knife murders this week as well as the usual deaths from alcohol and drugs.

That bit of film is a clear hatchet job. The edit is clearly out of context. I dont care for a BBC apology, I would prefer them to hand over all the footage and let us show it on the Rangers website. Un-edited.

That is a totally diffirent report from what appeared on RS and radiio Scotland all day. Why they think they can send out the same report with 2 diffirent angles is evidence,if evidence was needed that journalism is in the gutter. All of it.
