I beg to differ - we should have comfortably made the play-offs and before now. Far too many silly dropped points - the Czechs are not a good team anymore and we should have taken 4 points from them as well as 6 from Lithunia. Spain games are a write off obviously, but with our squad, which is decent, we shouldn't have to be relying on favours. This was our best chance to do something for a while.

We're ranked something like 52nd in the world, Czech Republic 40th, Spain, 1st, Lithunaia 75th and Lictenstein 897th.

To finish 2nd is a decent achievement. We'd have done better than expected.

And Torres isn't exactly in bleeding edge form.

It's his teammates we need to worry about. I'm worried about our discipline as well. Spain have only picked up 2 yellow cards so far in their 7 games while we've picked up 17 yellows and a red. They'll be passing the ball about and taking the piss out of us for long spells and if our lads don't keep their heads and stay focused, we won't be finishing the game with 11 players on the pitch tonight. We need our best performance in a long long time to take anything from the game because this Spanish team are phenomenal even without Iniesta and Fabregas.

The 2 pieces of good news are that neither Iniesta (their best player) or Fabregas are involved tonight. And Torres isn't exactly in bleeding edge form.

Aye, but he's up against Berra and Gary fuckin Caldwell.

Might as well not fucking bother, Spain will beat us and Lithuania not putting out a proper side.

Have faith, the Jambos beat Celtic last week, Im sure they can win again.

Im scared this poor campaign has still made Levein out to look good. It will be another glorious defeat and he will still be in charge.

Yeh, but don't you think Levein was the best of a bad lot when he got the job?If not him, then who? Please don't say Walter -he's on record as saying he woulnd't come back.Only credible candidates I can think of are Strachan and Souness. Or David Moyes if we pushed the boat out.
