Protest against BBC Scotland - Saturday 5th November

Recommended Posts

Boring Chic Young is an on going thing for as long as I can remember, he jumped ship way back from when Radio Clyde were trying to produce an honest reliable portrait of Scottish football when most including the bheeb were not.

The thing right now about the Scottish tv mob who add 'Scotland' to the once 'British' BBC is that cretin Liam McLeod who sits at home and adds commentary to SPL games shown later on a Sunday night when all and sundry already know what's in and out through reading the papers and switching on the tv the day before.....The worst example of this is when McLeod 'shouted' that was a dive referring to the Lafferty/Mulgrew incident at Ibrox when the latter was sent off...of course we ALL knew Laff took a dive, but only after we saw slowed replays of the repeated and repeated the night BEFORE.

This cock put it in his commentery as if HE seen it right away and added even MORE fuel to the fire....this cunt McLeod fucked up my viewing of the recent Spain v Scotland game because he simply isn't a competent commentator...the guy's a prick and sums up the bheeb in my opinion.

Get in there 54.

Thought it was interesting that ESPN stated that Hearts are not communicating with any media outlet.

That was news the other day. Sergio has a disciplinary hearing and they have refused to co-operate until after that hearing.

Don't know the ins and outs of it, but has it anything to do with the media?

The issue according to Hearts is that they blame referee Brines for disallowing a goal in their cup exit v Ayr and Paulo Sergio was unhappy that Brines was subsequently appointed as fourth official at their game last week v Dunfermline. He let this be known at their press conference on Thursday and someone (a journalist perhaps?) reported it to the SFA and now Sergio is the subject of a complaint by the SFA's compliance officer over criticism of the referee.

According to the BBC "The Edinburgh club say the manager, coaches and players will refuse to take part in pre- and post-match interviews until his hearing on 3 November."

If true then it is more evidence of journalists manipulating events for their own end.

Question is, would football die if starved of media coverage?

Or is this just the last stand of useless journos that know, what with the internet and so, that they're time is up.

People can see it and make up their own minds. Journos only seem to be concenbtrating on 'sensationalism' in order to sell their rags

How do you hack a journos phone, or are they just too clever for us all?

Football might die without media coverage but certainly not without the papers , the newspaper industry is on its arse , circulation is reducing month on month , sky tv , the internet , mobile phones etc are all killing the daily paper .
