Administrators organise staff meeting for 4pm today (Wednesday)

If you kept McGregor and Davis till the end of the season the transfer fees would far outweigh the prospective savings, it's voodoo economics to release them.

Agreed, I was just speculating.

They need to save 1m per month NOW, not at the end of the season.

Only because we're paying administrators £1m per month.

Releasing McGregor and Davis doesn't make us more attractive to prospective buyers it makes us less attractive.

How do you know we are paying them 1m pcm? & either way, its not their fault we went into administration.

I really couldn't give a flying fuck how attractive we are, as long as we survive.

BBC Scotland reporter Martin Conaghan on the future of the players who have left Rangers continued: "Ultimately Fifa decides on each case - but the application for a transfer is made on behalf of the player by the SFA. The transfer windows are still open in Japan (8 January-2 April), USA/Canada (21 January-15 April) and Finland (1 March-30 April).

On the above, could Edu, Boca and Bedoya seek transfers home. The fee's and wages would not be insignificant given the circumstances.

Whyte and others knew this was coming with the state our books were in, why couldn't they have just sold our high earners and get in some money along with getting them off the wage bill.........

But free agents can sign for anybody any time anyway.
