Blue Knights submit revised offer (Mon 10am)

Recommended Posts

Methinks the admins were in talks with Kennedy for the whole of Saturday and it has been said (bainer over at FF) that today will see more changes to the TBK bid. IMHO, BK should just do it, put 6m on top of the old bid in straight cash and off they go.

That said, I'll take no sides here. Far too much assumptions on the Miller bid, with hardly anyone actually knowing how his dual-company stuff is or will be working. Way to much scare-mongering involved from day one, not least by those who have no clue (nor detailed info) about it - i.e. the sports press folk.

But if the original bid is, as reported, £5m then that's a big jump. It makes you seriously wonder about the credentials of Murray and Kennedy that they're prepared to fuck around with our future.

They've been in negotiations long enough, and must know what it takes to buy the club. So enough of the grandstanding from them, they should just get down to business and do it.

The more they dick around the more of the support doubts them.

Its also been rumoured from the start that TBK are short of actual cold hard cash which is clearly going to put them at a disadvantage. Like Bigy says, surely all interested parties know what sort of money its going to take to buy the club regardless of whatever other noise is going around about sanctions by the footballing authorities.

Miller’s bid involves Rangers becoming a Newco and the fans are dead set against that.

They desperately want the club’s history preserved and are firmly behind the Blue Knights, who now have Sale Sharks owner Brian Kennedy in their camp.

Nice bit of elaborate sensationalistic generalisation there. First off a newco does not mean the club's history is wiped out. Does it mean trophies are removed? No. It also gives us an opportunity to apply for the lower leagues in England.

Time to look after number 1 and fuck everyone else that have continued to kick us whilst we have been down..... Let's see them fend for themselves!

Is Paul Murray actually worth anything? I mean he seems to talk the talk but so far he seems to come up with he-haw. Why doesnt he dip his hand in his pocket? and whats happened with king.. is he waiting to see if we get liquidated?

And if miller comes in and goes down the newco route, surely to god he ain't gonna ask the fans for season ticket money when we are clearly against it!!!

Time for miller to take heed of the supporters because without them the club has nothing!

What I want to really know is....why is it taking TBK's so long to nail down a bid???

Miller has stated, in fairly broad terms, what his bid entails. The value of it has also been published. Yet TBK's are constantly messing about. Paul Murray has had since last year to get something arranged!!! He's been messing about with ticketus (in, out, in , out) for weeks and failed to reach a solid agreement. Over the last few days he's been in constant talks with Kennedy, and yet their bid is still short. From the media reports, he has been in very regular contact with the Admins, yet he STILL hasn't got a bid firmly on the table - does this guy just like holding meetings???

Kinda makes you wonder what would have happened if Murray had succeeded with his 11th hour bid last year to pip Whyte......
