John Brown's Bid for Rangers

Recommended Posts

Or if we got no offers make Neil Alexander number one.

That could be funny.

Alexander deserves a run in the team IMO, he's sat on the bench for years , never complained and stood by us when we moved to the newco . Also the fact that he's not a bad goalkeeper.

That loyalty should be rewarded with him being made no 1 for the coming season.

you seem to have a decent grasp.

of course last year all the missing money was in a foreign account being hidden from the tax man. the yahoos who said we weren't paying vat were lying and whyte wasn't selling off future season book income that was a dirty lie from the record.

we shal see what's true and not now.

Yes, Whyte was a wrong 'un and Daly, Phil McStupidname, Keech Jackson & the doubters from within the Rangers support were proved right.

Given that, it follows that anyone else who tries to buy the club must also be corrupt.

Unless they're called Paul Murray. Or Jim McColl. Or Douglas Park. Or if Walter Smith backs them. Or if John Brown and Andy Goram like them. Then their bid should be waved through without question.

But if it's just some smart-arse from Yorkshire, he's clearly at it and it would be for the best if he sells up ASAP.

He has a decent grasp because he agrees with you funny that. Of course totally ignore the fact neither of you can prove anything you claim but nevermind pesky facts eh!

I don't think anyone is saying anything about crooks, I think people are afraid of mercenary businessmen only interested in their own gain being in charge of something they hold dear. And quite right too.

The vast majority of clubs are, and always have been owned and run by people who do it for other reasons than making their payday as big as possible. Why can't we want a bit of that?

The players don't give a damn who the CEO of the club is. They deal with the manager day-in, day-out and will have virtually no contact with him. It's crazy for anyone to suggest that's why any player left and there's no chance any will come back just because the owners or CEO of the club change.
