... in what way?

well I mooted a few possibilities the other day. it would be better to say that it could if we want be the making of us.

50k bears with no sky to pay, no season books, no away days or trips abroad.

if we all put 500 quid in a fund we would have 25 million to spend.

buy the club.

but the stadium and add 20k seats while its not being used.

go south and start in conference north if needs be.

heck do all 3 and in a decade a rangers owned by its fans is packing 70k fans into ibrox for its opening day epl game v man utd.

We certainly should not be the first to blink. Worth commenting that the media twitterati have been very quiet today, haven't seen any reports from them on anything.

Just thinking that myself. Spookily quiet on all fronts today...

Except, even with 25mill in the bank, would that really be enough to keep the club running for a year without any tangible revenue from tickets etc?

sevco would likely have to go into admin and shed its costs entirely.

we would be starting from scratch the following year. total scratch almost certainly.

actually there's your problem sevco has to blink eventually. or go bust.

Methinks if we do not get a transfer of our old membership, which is what we are trying to do now, we'd have to apply for a brand new license. That would be food and drink for all the "club dies with oldco and license" heralds. A new license would also only be issued to a company with a 3-year trading background, which Sevco Scotland does not have. Whether Kennedy et al has one remains to be seen.

Just saying.

...and how much would it cost to completely start again from scratch???

...I very much doubt that 50k fans would hand over £500 and nothing in return!!!

...where's the money gonna come from???
