Walter's resignation...could it be ?

Recommended Posts

Green's interview was much of nothing apart from strangely timed.

A consultant making veiled threats about the managers position.... "much of nothing"... aye, ok.

Any consultant elsewhere would already have been relieved of their duties for his interview. He is a paid consultant, not a spokesperson of the club, and he should do well to remember that.

The interview was much of nothing and even if taken us a subtle threat did not warrant McCoist's reaction.

I didn't see how it was warranted.

Green at times didn't conduct himself properly as a Rangers CEO.

He is a consultant, not a spokesperson of the club. He himself has admitted he knows nothing about football yet allowed himself to go on record about footballing matters at a club where he is, technically, nothing more than a service provider.

I can see how it was warranted.

You don't think he should stand up for himself and his players after an unprofessional attack from a proven liar with an agenda? Really?

It was badly timed and had all the hallmarks of CG's crassness all over it - but what part of it do you think was an attack on Ally or the players ?

Whether Green's interview was ill advised or not is irrelevant to the personal ranting nature of McCoist's response.

No, it was unprofessional and agenda driven. He's a board appointed consultant on investor relations, why would he give an interview on how the team should perform this season within hours of being appointed? Stop defending the indefensible.

I havent seen McCoists response... but some on here said it was by no means a rant, but calm and calculated....

How the hell is it irrelevant ? It was Green's interview which provoked the response - it can hardly therefore be deemed to be irrelevant.

It was strange timing but it repeated what many of our fans have said over the summer. McCoist's reaction was disproportionate.
