Walter's resignation...could it be ?

Recommended Posts

Normally, I would agree with you 100% STB, but there's a war going on here and this is the main protagonists positioning themselves for the ensuing battle.

It's not an excuse and certainly not pretty, but it probably won't improve until this boardroom situation is resolved.

I'm afraid I view this situation as much more complex than there being 'protagonists' and what not.

It was strange timing but it repeated what many of our fans have said over the summer. McCoist's reaction was disproportionate.

Are you really comparing what fans say to each other to a press interview with Charles Green? McCoist responded to a public, published interview with a public published interview. It was a perfectly proportionate response.

The part where he described them as the worst side ever. McCoist has to respond to that and publicly.

Well two things - Ive not seen that in the newspaper accounts Ive seen (though I understand that the interviews were not reproduced in full) and secondly is that not a reference to last season's comments re the team ?

I thought this was an interesting take on the 2 interviews.

Charles Green calls Ally McCoist a great guy, Ally McCoist calls Charles Green an embarrassment.

And it was proportionate?

Yet he's undermined the players of last year himself more than once himself by bemoaning the lack of signings playing at the weekend.

You seem to be struggling to understand what roles people have, how those roles affect what they say and the meaning it carries.
