Dave King has reached a full and final settlement with the SA tax authorities

Hypthetically ... could an individual like him give the club some sort of banking facility (on e.g. a five year period) to steady the ship while we are where we are? Under the demand that some financial brain like Blin does the finances?

That is, are there circumstances where somesuch is being done?

Nothing to prevent it from happening - not dissimilar to Abramovich guaranteeing Chelsea's cash.

Though given King doesnt like the current encumbents why would he do that ? He may in the event that Blin gets in, should it be required - but I for one dont mind one iota the club working without a credit facility as it ensures you work to the cash you have. This is a simplistic view I understand and it would be preferential to have a soft loan/credit in place - but my point is you should be trying to operate without having to effect a loan or credit facility.

Dave King reaches tax settlement with SA revenue service and agrees to pay 706.6m rand (£44m) ... it says. No idea what he's worth though.

He is worth the same as all of us, he has just got more money.

IMO King will be the next owner. The end game has begun.

IMO King & McColl are working together at present. Their plan is to get rid off the current board, replace them with Blin & Murray who will have another shares issue which will be underwritten by Dave King(& maybe others). This will lead to Dave King becoming the major or majority shareholder.
