Black gets a 10 match ban with 7 of them suspended

Recommended Posts

That would be the most obvious defence, however I was just curious to whether you had heard anything as I was sure you mentioned you (or people you knew) knew of Black when he was at Hearts.

Yeah, Black lives locally and is a friend of a friend... :)

I'm going for £250k fine & a 12 month ban on playing any players signed within the past 3 months - both specifically applied to the club & not company.

Black will get punished by being forced to carry on playing for us, whilst also incurring a 5k euro fine, payable to UEFA on behalf of Ceptic.

Precedence is the key.

Black should remind the Disciplinary Panel of the Clanree Hotel in Donegal. The then Sellik players, Pearson and Hartson stood on the stage leading the green'n'grey hordes in praise of the IRA. The then Sellik Chairman was also stood there chorusing approval and enthusiastically clapping his hands. We watched it on YouTube, we viewed the reality. However, when it reached the press; Peter Lawwell casually implied the video had been doctored, "utilising £30 of software".

Black's bets are a perception of reality presented by £30 of software.

Perhaps one of the more perceptive members of the panel will offer Ian odds on there being £30 of software in East Lothian?

Actual recordings of the calls?

Yes, if it is a Contact Centre they record voice calls (although I believe these days the caller must be advised that this is the case). They are quite often used in complaint cases where someone says they were given misinformation (or even abused by) a Contact Centre adviser. The manager will pull back the recording and listen to the whole conversation.
