Exactly, mate, they are so far out of touch with what is going on. A generalisation, I know, but having their annual soiree go off without a hitch appears to be what matters most to them.

Twitter is alive with hyperbole over it. 'Shocking', 'sickening' etc. What a lot of baws. It's slightly embarrassing for the organisers but that's it. Only shocking and sickening thing is what's happened to the club's finances in the last two years. One can disagree about whether he should have been allowed to finish before being given pelters (such as they were. Seems pretty mild) but have to say the size of a fuq I couldn't give over this is absolutely immense.

Do some NARSA folk not have previous for shooting their mouths off - i.e. RFFF funding defence of ........

We are truly f*@ked if we once again blindly accept those in the boardroom with their "lovely, lovely words" as guardians of OUR club.

Have we learned nothing????????????

Maybe the view from North America is much prettier than the view for those of us poor sods on the ground in the UK.

With every fan barney and new formed group we prove fan ownership will never work at Rangers. Until one man with the good of the club comes in and buys the club we will go nowhere. This pipe dream about fan ownership etc have to stop. We need to find the right man with the right means and right desire to take our club forward, the fans will not and cannot do that.

And once again the obfuscation from Graham Wallace gets forgotten about. Divide and conquer.

Fan ownership is democracy and democracy accommodates differences of opinion.

We are not a monoculture and we should not pretend to be one.

The idea that we should wait on some kind of Father Christmas figure appearing is absurd. We really have to escape this mentality where we wish our lives away begging for a saviour.

Cheers.

From his own words he also appears to dislike free speech but has no issue with violence. Strange.

Dislikes free speech? Have you read the opinions on his remark written on here and likewise stuff on people who applauded Wallace after his speech? The guy asks for respect and the amount shown that night nor on here at times is not exactly up to Rangers standards either - no matter how you turn it.

The guy you refer to in such glowing terms has been shown up to be an agenda-driven liar by.....wait for it....none other than the bold Teresa who he claimed was ready to batter those Sons Of Struth/Union Of Fuds troublemakers. It turns out that the interruptions actually came from another table.

Respect. :D

I believe the other side of the coin is equally as deluded. Let's not kid ourselves here, fans will never own Rangers nor should they.

The fact is we need a saviour, no ifs bits or scare stories. A dream or not. We need one.

My plan is that the fans should own the club - and we can make it happen. It won't be easy because we are a support that is instinctively deferential, but it is something that can be made to happen with a little ingenuity, hard work, application and self-belief.

Your plan is to wish for a Rangers-minded billionaire who is smart enough to be outrageously successful and dim enough to waste his hard-earned resources on a football club whose support will probably not even be grateful for his intervention - and if it takes one year or five years or ten years or fifty years of waiting - this is your plan of first and last resort.

Intellectually, this doesn't stack up at all. It is a 'do nothing' plan; a plan to wait and wait some more and keep on waiting. This is a plan that isn't a plan at all.

It's a prayer.
