Richard Wilson on Radio Scotland saying the story is genuine.

His bid came in before the King/Park share grab.

Saying Sarver in discussions with Park/King now.

from FF

So he made the bid and Somers then sent the begging emails?

Says to me that the board aren't in favour of him. The enemy of my enemy is my friend and all that

Somers' 4am Boxing Day begging emails are one of the main reasons I'm suspicious about this story.

Why would you send those emails if you were already engaged in negotiations with an impeccable potential investor?

Why would this Sarver chap be interested in us anyway?

Who brought Rangers to his attention?

Does feel like someone was either trying to flush out the Rangers men, or talk the price up, even if Wilson is usually on the money.

King and park are in the box seat here, but robert sarver is one of a few names that will probably pop up over the next week or so as the media het to grips with it! Hes not an ashley man/plant and is known to the bears through another US based bear.

Dont panic guys we have sharp people on our sides

The Wilson story states that the Sarver bid was made "just after Christmas", but we don't know exactly when that was yet.

Not that I'd like to give Somers any credit (or even benefit of the doubt), but for all we know, Sarver might actually have been the recipient of one of the Somers emails.
