The reliable @RichwilBBC saying if Capita get wind of a King majority 48 hours pre-EGM, they must inform NOMAD & Board. EGM may not happen.

Even if Kingco dont have a majority the board must surely realise their time is up. You only need to look at the empty seats at home games.

We are not sure if the Grange Hotel took its decision not to host the EGM based on the hundreds of Celtic fans who contacted them today or because of misinformation from allies of the board. If it was due to the former, we would like to thank those fans for the obsession with our affairs that now sees the EGM being held at Ibrox.

Haha, thanks guys!

The Telegraph understands that the Rangers board will now open and close the meeting in London and are trying to organise premises for these formalities. Directors of the plc board will be present in both London and Glasgow, although the board is still trying to establish what procedure they need to follow to make this happen and it is not yet known whether they will have to fly back and forth between the cities, although it is believed that this is a possibility.

By close of business on Tuesday, Rangers had not advised the Stock Exchange of the new arrangements. The Telegraph can reveal, however, that the plc directors do not want the event to be postponed. A fresh Stock Exchange announcement is likely tomorrow.

Understand that the custom and practice of City law means that meetings at Millennium Gloucester and Grange Tower Bridge hotels will still have to be called. They will immediately by adjourned. The custom of it means there has to be time to physically travel from one venue to the other before the next meeting can be opened, which is why the MG meeting was 10am and GTB was at noon. Also why March 4 might be viewed as too soon for the Ibrox date.

it is if they can agree going forward post EGM. I hope there is no infighting as to who gets to go on the board.

I would favour an independent non-partisan professional, agreed to by all the groups and as many independent shareholders as are interested.

Part of his/her fee would be the blazer and tie.

Good luck, eh?
