Summer 2015 - Transfers and Rumours Thread

Recommended Posts

Speaking to someone yesterday who watched Sheffield United put 5 past this keeper.

Least said the better.

Swindon put 5 past the Sheffield Utd keeper in that same match, so it must have been a very open, attacking game of football.

Cheltenham put 5 past him in a 5-0 win in the FA cup last season, but Swindon were down to 10 men after 20 mins in that game and their defending was apparently to blame more than the keeper.

Good luck to the lad, not saying he's rubbish. The person I was talking with didn't rate him, just passing it on.

I doubt if he's rubbish or Swindon wouldn't have finished 4th in League 1 last season, but we'll just need to wait and see for ourselves. The likes of Steve Simonsen came to us with a good CV & pedigree, but turned out to be a walking nightmare.

Yeovil Town sign young striker Jamie Burrows from Rangers

Yeovil Town manager Paul Sturrock has added a tenth new signing of the summer to the growing ranks of players at Huish Park.

Young striker Jamie Burrows has been snapped up from Rangers.

The deal is subject to international clearance with Burrows currently playing outside of England, but once cleared it is expected the 20-year-old will sign a one-year contract at Huish Park.

Born in Jersey the forward has been a Rangers youth player since 2011, but never made an appearance for the senior side despite some good performances in the under-20s. Burrows has great pace as well as being potent in the air.

Anyone read what Sturrock said about this lad when he announced he was signing ?

Sturrock said.... "I have been told he is either smelly or Pele.... my job is to ensure we see more of Pele" - :D :D:D:D
