New management team: Mark Warburton and David Weir

McInnes is simply not capable of doing the job that Warburton is going to embark on.

They are light years apart in terms of vision, planning, organisation, structure and future performance.

And light years apart in terms of experience

He would have been better taking them down. On a personal level.

As for the cull perhaps but halving the wage bill not so much.

It might not be fair, but managers need to succeed in those types of situation in order to mark them out from the crowd.

In terms of coaching, studying methods, building innovative structures, developing youth, providing technical guidance and taking a small club to a high position in the English league - yes Warburton is light years ahead of McInnes in terms of experience ;)3

Experience of what? McCall had quite a bit more experience than McInnes and look where that got us. Both McCall and McInnes have similar track records of bombing in England and looking fairly decent in a very poor league.

Warburton was a huge success in a decent league, the other two failed miserably. End of story.

As I say I prefer Warburton but using your measure Smith took us from 2nd to first. And advocatt from 2nd to 2nd or 3rd

I'm not asking anyone to say he should be first choice over Warburton.

When did Advocaat take us to third? There's quite a significant difference between the top end and bottom end of tables.

It's also hugely relevant and important to note what Warburton did in his build up for approx 10 years befor his Brentford days. Lots of ground work, research, time spent analysing other clubs in Europe, developng the NextGen series, heading up Watford Academy etc. etc.
