Purple Rangers top confirmed as new 3rd strip

Recommended Posts

Right folks, so getting this leaked 3rd kit subject back on topic I just found this article from 19th May. The main error in the article is what they assume is going to be the third kit is actually exactly the same design template as our new Rangers training kit, so presumably that will be Newcastle's new training kit, not their 3rd kit which is actually navy & pink.

Anyway, this adds even more veracity to the legitimacy of the leaked purple Rangers kit photos.

Newcastle United 2015/16 Kit Contains Worrying Amounts Of ‘Glasgow Rangers’ Blue (Leaked Photos)

By Chris Wright 19th, May 2015

It would appear that the new Newcastle United kits for the 2015/16 Championship season (we jest of course…or do we?) have been leaked all over social media today.

The design shows the standard black and white stripes but with a creeping presence of a very familiar shade of blue.

Looks like Mike Ashley is attempting to smoosh Newcastle and Glasgow Rangers together to make some kind of unholy superclub after all…

For what it’s worth we sorta like it in a ‘something a bit different’ kind of way.

Obviously it probably helps if you’re not concerned about the imminent emergence of Glascastle Rangited and all.

But wait, the fun doesn’t stop there as the away and third strips have also supposedly been leaked too.

These are they (the one on the left being the away shirt and the one on the right being the third)…

Hmmm. We’re getting distinct ‘public toilet tiles’ vibes from the former and the latter looks like the result of a manufacturing error.

What’s the verdict Pies fans? Why aye or a big fat nar?
