Transfer Deadline Day: Michael O'Halloran signs until 2020

We need a striker not another winger

Was just replying to your remark about his scoring record. He can play accross the front line and who knows how prolific he will be if actually used as a striker in a front three?

BH, so far we don't let anyone go bar Halkett. Given the accuracy of the media and the sole (?) source regarding Clark and Law, perhaps we bide our time a little more. That said, we have about 3 to 4 midfielders coming sooner or later (as far as we know, that is), plus Thompson waiting in the second line. If we are offered money for value ...

How we can keep Zelalem on £6,500 per week of his £18,000 with Arsenal and let Law (presumably on similar money) go is beyond me.

Law was outstanding in his two recent starts.

Over-cooking it more than slightly. He was good, but outstanding ? Yer having a laugh BH, even though we know you have a lovefest for Law going on.

Law has been decent enough in the last couple of games - but a season that doesn't make, nor a player we should keep does it make. If he can continue in this vein of form through the end of the season then he would be a player worth keeping. I have my doubts he can produce it, and have a suspicion that he has only started to perform better because there was no interest in him previously.

He was rotten last season, and no amount of your stats will convince me otherwise.

Law is out of contract in the summer and it may well be Windass is his replacement.

The lad has shown up well recently and I think it's good for the team that he, Zelalem and Shiels are all busting a gut to play each week. However, if we were to receive an offer for Law or Shiels, I wouldn't be averse to taking it either.

To be fair law is the current hide and seek champion

I would agree with that - but in his last couple of games he certainly has been more prominent and looked to get on the ball more often, as well as being more direct. That doesn't negate that he spent all of last season hiding and abdicating all responsibility.

It's amazing the number of players who suddenly become very good as their contracts near the end , funny that

PRESS CONFERENCE | Mark Warburton | 14 Jan 2016

Talks about transfers ... and says Rangers have released not a single figure regarding transfer fees. And he is hopeful of another two or three new faces (I guess including Mani and O'Halloran).

From the sound of this interview, it seems Robbie Crawford is staying on at Alloa ...

Alloa star Robbie Crawford out to impress Rangers boss Mark Warburton during loan spell

ALLOA loan star Robbie Crawford is hoping his time at the Indodrill Stadium can help him force his way into Rangers manager Mark Warburton's plans.

The midfielder's contract at Ibrox runs out at the end of next season but he believes a successful spell with the Wasps can help him earn a new deal and ensure he returns to the Gers ready to compete for a first-team spot.

Crawford told Advertiser Sport: “I spoke to Jack Ross and Mark Warburton and had a good chat with both of them, and it seemed like the most logical thing to do. I have really enjoyed my time so far and hopefully I can kick on again. Alloa is the right place for me to do that and I am really excited to be staying on.
