We are the most obvious? To who?

Henrick Larsson, Mark Viduka, fuck the queen and davie copper (he's deid) - a lovely we ditty sung at EVERY OF game at Ibrox

Cheer up (insert Rangers manager here) sad ORANGE BASTARD and shit football team - any time the tims beat us

north men, south men one and all, soon there will be no protestants at all - sung at every OF game and every craptic away game, including Europe

Are you watching ORANGE SCUM - again, sung at almost every tim away game including Europe

That is just a selection of lovely wee ditties that are as obvious as us shouting effteepee....

I haven't even touched on the monkey noises you hear through-out Europe or the 'roman salutes' from the like of Lazio....

Aye, we are a lot more obvious right enough

The only reason we are 'more obvious' is that it is continually highlighted

I'm with you on this one Cammy, some of our fans should get banned from Ibrox for , BREAKING THE LAW !!!!!!!!, but we need some-one to lead our fight against all bigotry, because IMO we are not the worst offenders

Hell, we even got fined by UEFA for a Craptic fan invading the pitch, drapped in a Palistine Flag and pope on a T-shirt who was screaming 'orange barstewards' to the Rangers fans as he was dragged away....

Still, it happened in OUR ground. No matter who he was or who he supports he was at OUR game and infringed on the pitch.

Who else should UEFA have fined ? Celtic ?

Cammy you can be into anything you like, but it's got nothing to do with football or Rangers FC.

I'm not overly into the UF the OO the Boyne or the Royal Family and my politics are pretty middle of the road and at times borders on Scottish Nationalism.

Are you saying I have to find another club to support, other than the one I've supported since five years old, because I don't share the same tastes as you?

I was under the impression that we could all be different and yet share a love for the same football team. Football is suppose to be an social equaliser, not divisory.

Do you really have a problem with that?

Hopefully it goes the other way and you can be a Royalist and support Hibs, a Unionist and support Raith Rovers, be in the OO and support Dundee Utd, etc.

I'm into social clubs, good food and wine, cycling holidays, playing football, touch rugby, squash, golf, playing the guitar, watching films, home cinema equipment, sports coupes, motorbikes, giving my opinion on forums. But I don't have to have any of that related in any way with the football team I support. I forget about all of them when I'm watching a game.

I don't want to stop drinking wine because Carling sponsor my team, or switch from a Hyundai to a Honda. I don't want to learn to play the flute instead of learning the guitar. I don't want to stand up every time GSTQ is played etc, etc, etc.

So really, what is your point?

I thought we were fined for inept stewarding...

Finally, someone with similar views to mine! I won't be changing the team i support either, Calscot, but i will never conform to the 'image' of a Rangers fan that some people seem to have in their head

Calscot, it was you that wrote a scathing post on those who are proud of the UF etc - I welcome any person with any views to support Rangers, do you?

We really have to ask ourselves why our own fans associate Rangers with a hatred of Catholics and Irish republicans. And also the very strange and bordering on unhealthy obsession for "prods", the Union flag, the OO, WWII, the Battle of the Boyne, King William, the current Queen, right wing politics and England.

Maybe that's the big issues the decent fans keep sweeping under the carpet...

If Rangers were not known for these things, would the idiots be around to spoil things for us?

Do these attributes actually bring anything good to Rangers? As far as I can see the answer is, "No".

So I believe in most of the above (apart for hating catholics or craptic more than I love Rangers) and in your opinion, I don't bring anything good to Rangers? Yet, you are the one implying that I don't want 'your lot' around....?

So I am an idiot that spoils it for everyone else am I?

Funny way to talk about fellow fans Calscot...

For the record, I have a great friend who supports the Rangers and he is a Scottish Nationalist and socialist. I have absolutely no issues with him supporting the Rangers, he is one of the best Rangers fans I know...

I have another great friend who supports the Rangers and he is (whisper it) a catholic and again, I have absolutely no qualms about his love, passion and commitment to the Rangers.
