Since we scored we've started to come onto more of a game. We really are a confidence team right now.

pretty brutal overall but a well taken goal deserves to separate the sides

Took us half an hour to get going but a good opening goal and some decent stuff thereafter.

 

First 30mins really were dreadful though. We give the ball away far too easily and not enough hard work (or positional sense) to win it back.

Looks to me more like a 4-3-1-2, or 4-2-2-2 which has been quite good. The interplay after that first nervous 25 minutes or so has been top class; Windass, Miller and Toral's link-up especially has been very good. It's the final ball - Tavernier especially has been guilty of wasting good opportunities. Waghorn is better when he's moving and running at a defence, not holding it up, which is strange for a man built like a fridge!?

 

The youngsters do not look out of place at all - does that mean they're good prospects or an indictment on the rest of the team? Pleased to see Wilson blootering someone.
