As an interim, he is (again) on a hiding to nothing, and can only try to make us solid, hard to beat, and try to sneak a couple of wins before the board get their man in. I hope the board manage to get the job done in under 6 weeks this time and appoint a manager who has a CV worthy of our club. Another left field gamble that fails will see the anger turn on them. 5 out of our last 6 managerial appointments have been abysmal and we've had really poor interim ones in addition to that. This is something we shouldn't rush into. The problem with left field gambles is we don't have the infrastructure in place to identify good ones. We end up with absolute buffoons like Pedro. It seems like Pena has taken advantage of Morelos' movement, rather than the other way round with Miller. Miller's movement and intelligence is excellent, but he trap a ball, passes backwards too often and misses too many chances.
