It depends whether Dorrans plays in a flat three or #10. If it's the former, fine; if it's the latter then I'd prefer Goss.

I think he could have read anything and it would have told him the need to match up in the middle.

 

The important thing is he appears to have altered things accordingly. Now the players need to do the business and in the middle it won't be easy.....but then the best things are never easy.

Looks like a 4-3-3, with a narrow front three like Liverpool.

 

Hopefully that allows us to block off the centre, forcing them wide.
