We've been hardly at a standard we expect, but the second half was almost entirely as we started the game. Aberdeen did what most teams did, destroy anything, jumping into tackles and having wee spells of the game themselves. The rest was lumping the ball up field and haring after it. That shower in second spot is shameful for the Scottish game.

 

Goss made a welcome differenmce to our passing, what we need is someone to keep him free of trouble and hand him the ball. Tavernier's free kicks have been woeful for these last two years and how he gets the opportunity time and again is beyond me. That final front-line of Murphy, Candeias, Morelos and Cummings worked their socks off, chased everything and for the final third Morelos got his act together and did what he can do best, be a team player. He should have buried that header, but had few chances anyway. We have to wait and see who takes over his role at the weekend. Speaking of which, we are fast running out of people, with McCrorie, Morelos and now Dorrans all suspended. And Cummings back at his old hunting ground? They'll lynch him if he scores a winner.

Can't fault them for effort in the second half but our lack of composure and quality up front was obvious.
