On one hand we want the team full of strong characters and on the other we want them to sit meekly and not react to an incompetent manager.

We need our strong characters on the pitch, not as backseat managers.

The investigation should have been completed long before now. It's unfair on the people involved that it hasn't been. Have they really not established what happened by now?  Do they need to interview everyone there? Are there many different versions of events?

Very poor by Robertson.

If they are thinking of terminating their contracts the club probably has to be seen to be following due process which would include a full investigation, including interviews, of the circumstances relating to the incident.

I know what's required, having been involved in one last week, but still fail to see why they couldn't have had it completed by now.

If we want to win the league anytime soon, Miller and Wallace won't be much use.  Wallace deserves thanks for sticking around.  Miller can take his leak elsewhere.

There may well be contradictory reports on what happened, each backed up by witnesses. In such case, it can be a much longer process of testing each side of the story.

Miller contract is up at the end of the season anyway, so the club don't need to do much with him, even a fine now would look petty. As for Wallace another fine will suffice imo, good servant for the club and that should stand him in good sted.

Miller's to old so tell him to don't bother coming back as for Wallace let the new manager run the rule over him to see if he can use him if not put him on the transfer list .

Agreed, and if that's the case then fair enough, but given the circumstances, with lots of witnesses I'd have thought it would be fairly clear as to the events.

Miller haters to the end, please remember he done a decent job for us and always gave 100%. Some like Windass could learn from Miller's work-rate.

While the likes of Windass' work rate is notably lower than Millers, I would say that his overall contribution is better.  Miller does a lot of running, with very little to show for it.

Internal investigations CAN take a while - it all depends on the number of interviews needing conducted and the various bits of evidence (for & against) that has to be collated.  Remember that there are set procedures that MUST be followed with regard to employment law.  The investigation must be thorough & fair.
