McCrorie seemed to sit too deep and when Jack came on it was obvious he was still a bit rusty whilst the addition of Ejaria meant another new player and it took him a while to settle into the game - though he quite impressed me with his directness (as did Middleton).

Other positives were the defence which looked very solid (though Tav was dodgy at their corners) and I was particularly impressed with Goldson.

It will take time for us to get settled, but we do look better defensively, it's all about results for now

Tav lost his man twice at their corners which was a bit concerning for me fortunately nothing came of it though. They'll fancy their chances on Tuesday against us thats for sure.

I'll be near suicide if we lose to that mob. They can pass the ball ok but they don't have a cutting edge.

Goldson was a cut above.  Felt that Katie has some “bombscare” moments in him.

Funny I thought that the other way about. Goldsen had a few passes that went straight to the opposition in dangerous positions and I thought Katie:roflmao: was excellent and read the game to a T. I will admit though Goldson was excellent in the second-half.

And us against them too.

An early goal and the tie is won.

We don't really know that yet they played a very defensive formation with a lone striker which meant they only had a couple of chances. I'm more concerned at the ease that they passed the ball through us when they did have it. Granted they'll be more open on Tuesday as they need to score to win which might allow our attack some room to work in. But if they can play like that and be on the attack also it'll be a real test in the heat.

I like the two new CBs - the old ones would have lost at least one goal.

Tav didn’t go to summer school defenders’ classes.

Morelos a shadow of the player he was at the start of last season, he obviously jouked the target practice. By the middle of the second half he was hiding out on the wings leaving an empty penalty box.

Ejaria knows how to play.

Middleton looks like a Rangers player.
