I’m not sure Liewell has the power & influence he once had within Scottish Football.

I think he may have(or soon will have) far greater things to concern him

I’m sure our chairman Mr King knows this

Care to elaborate Rab? Is the stand still falling down?

IMHO, people leading the SPFL and SFA should have no affiliation to any club. It is, essentially, a business construct and should be run more or less like a business, probably on a certain non-profit basis. Of course, the smaller the country, the smaller the chance to find people with no affiliation to one club. Still, it is one thing to favor a club as a "fan", or being directly involved as a CEO or the like. Conflict of interest springs you in the face ...

Lieswell power lies in the fact he had his minions at the Sheep, Arabs, Hivs and Hearts (Romanov) and Mulraney at Alloa,. His power has never been with the lower league teams imo. Gradually that power base is being chipped away, Thompson has gone at the Arabs, Heart without their previous gangster owner are not at the same level of hate towards us. Even Petry at Hivs has had a sickner with Liewell, well you would get sick of sucking tim boaby. Lieswell is having to work hard for his pound of flesh these days.

Still, this move can’t have been much of a shock to the board. If it was unexpected, there should be a statement soon.

There will be NO statement....it was 100% expected.  Liewell will serve his time, then be replaced by a RFC representative.
