SFA to meet Scottish Premiership clubs over referee and appeal issues

Recommended Posts

That's a very good point, 26th.

Also referring to Bluedells's similar point - at the moment, it seems like Michael Stewart and Chris Sutton decide what incidents the Compliance Officerette reviews.  And they always seem to focus on Rangers, with particular attention upon our best player.

A partisan nationalist failure and a bankrupt mouthpiece, is how I would describe them.

Apparently anyone can report incidents to the CO - including fans.

Anyway main outcome of the meeting was the recommendation of VAR but they reckon it could take up to 18 months to implement.

C.O. officer first thing Monday morning before she grabs a coffee and watches a re-run of Sportscene

For me, the VAR is just another opportunity for the refs to stew us over. Missed a chance to screw us over the first time? The VAR ref has a second chance.

Until we bring in referees that are professional and/or from a different country, then we won’t get fair refereeing in our league.

Matches against the scum will now last about 5 hours.  They'll request VAR every 10 minutes.

Load of bollocks, if you ask me.

I think you will need to get used to it because it will come.
