Should Morelos return to the starting line up on Wednesday?

Should Morelos be in the starting XI?

  1. 1. Would you start Alfredo given his recent poor form and disciplinary issues?

Obviously will be dependent on his attitude when questioned about reason for delay with returning back, being dropped in the first instant and then afterwards at training etc....stick him on the bench at best.

Without knowing the answer to these questions, and more, it's difficult to answer.   A spell on the bench did work before with Morelos.

Thing is quite simple: if he is the main striker, he has to score goals now (sic!), even though he had his fair share of ill-luck and abysmal refereeing. If he ain`t scoring, others should take that role if they do score. Methinks he was only absent when banned, not because any poor scoring form?

IMHO, hand him another striker and themtwo will hammer the opposition. Right now he has to do most of the work alone.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The lack of support for Alfie by the club, both in regards to the abuse he's taken on and off the park and also to the way that he's refereed to a different standard to every other player in Scotland is shameful.

It's no wonder his form has suffered.

If the club wants the best from him then they need to totally revisit the way that they treat him and don't take the dignified silence approach just because it best suits "brand Gerrard".
