I don't think that it can. The process has commenced, and to abort it now would require proper grounds, and would establish some kind of precedent. If the SFA wishes to be sympathetic, it would look to either soft pedal the prosecution, or to a lenient sentence, maybe both. I forecast both will be found guilty and will receive a 12 point deduction for next season, and a fine. It's been 8 weeks since Michael Stewart last appeared on BBC Scotland. His last several contributions were as an outraged Foundation of Hearts member, "the decision to relegate both Hearts and Thistle is unjust". Mikey now works for Sellik TV, will they allow him broadcast time to protest this latest decision to relegate both clubs? Further, Mikey was telling us that Neil Doncaster, Rod(the Fraud) McKenzie, and Shifty McGifty were "good guys", undeserving of Rangers emanating ire.
