Aberdeen and Celtic players break Covid quarantine rules

The SPFL told us that there are no spare dates to play rearranged fixtures. So when are these postponed fixtures to be played? Common sense would suggest cancelling last year's Scottish Cup giving 2 spaces in the fixture list. Wonder if this will happen?

The SPFL who "made that vote happen" as it did? Given that this is Covid-19, the season can easily be extended by a week or four, without much more than a bit of good will.

If detailed protocols weren't documented and agreed for scenarios like this before the season started then the SFA have demonstrated that they are incompetent on quite a staggering level.

Lennon speaking after Aberdeen players breaking propocal. Tightened their propocal so much that one of their players has buggered off to Spain for a few days without anyone at the club knowing? Believable?

If the season is suspended, due to the inabilty of the pederasts fc and the sheepshaggers fc to control their players, and ensure that they adhere to pandemic strictures, there will be direct losses and expenses to every other club, and to the broadcaster, SKY.

Who will pay?

If one or say two schools have an outbreak, or break propocal, will Sturgeon close down the entire education system?

As @Frankie says rather convenient that all clubs will be punished for Celtic and Aberdeens folly and Celtic come out of the whole scenario unpunished and a full week to prepare for a CL qualifier.

Corupt,? will, you can a draw your own conclusions

It's a shame this didn't happen in 2008 right around the time of the Uefa cup final?

Doubt we’ll have these questions answered any time soon. It seems incredibly odd that the SFA were content for the new season to start without finalising disciplinary arrangements for breaches of protocol.

At this stage at least some suspension of football is surely likely at some point.

A suspicious man may even speculate that this was all pre-planned….

Is it really believable that a Celtic player disappears abroad without the club knowing?

Celtic' s latest statement has (unsurprisingly) thrown the player under the bus and absolved themselves of any blame or responsibility.

Doncaster has apparently (due to pressure from SPFL clubs and SKY) proposed a postponement of AFC and CFC games (helps that they are due to play each other at weekend) to the Government. This would allow other games to proceed as planned. No indication of how long / many games at this point.

Up to Government now to agree to this or shutdown football for a set period (could be as long as 2 week).

When it suits, that club acts like it has a veil of ignorance enshrouding it. This has been the case for many years.

It is now impossible to believe a word that emanates from it, on any matter whatsoever, to the extent that any denial of anything indicates a confirmation of the matter it rebuts.

If, as seems most likely (if you are stupid enough and selfish enough to do it, you are stupid enough to talk about it),  the fhilth knew that Bolingoli had undertaken an excursion to Spain, prior to the match v Killie then, really, the fitba' authorities should hurl the book at them.

I don't see this Bolingoli cock up as a deliberate ploy by the fhilth: there are too many variables post 'discovery' for it to control the outcome.

Of course, if it was set up in advance with ScotGov/SPFL/SFA , then.......But ,really, that takes us into Timmy in Wonderland territory, and that is not a place to visit.
