[FT] Livingston 0 - 0 Rangers

Today's game (and games of this ilk) are all about tempo for me. My team talk would focus on going for it from the first whistle and winning the game by half time. No more probing with sideways passing and let's see what happens. Go for the jugular from the off with quick passing from Hagi, Kent and Aribo.

There is nothing more disheartening than going in 0-0 at HT away to Livingston. You just know the 2nd half will be a frought affair with our players playing under unnecessary pressure. Games like today have been our downfall over the last few seasons so let's get out there and make a marker while the mhanks are on the naughty step.

Couldn’t agree more! The plastic surface is only a leveler if we let it be. Dictate the tempo and make them dizzy from the first whistle and we should be comfortable by HT.

IMHO, the starting line-up from last week and the week before and the we.... will see Edmundson taking the place of Balogun, even though SG might risk Helander on that surface.

Speaking of the latter, the short-pass ability and trickery of Hagi, Aribo and Co. will be lessened somewhat, and first touches are important. Lets hope we score early and often, so the pressure is somewhat off and defenders can concentrate on their main job.

Starting line up may change given the news that Lyndon Dykes is out - which is very good news for us.

QPR have agreed a £2 million fee for him so he isn’t playing and will travel to London after the game for signing talks.
