Went for Kent over Barker as he scored (really composed finish).

Also mentions for Borna (another assist), Roofe for his goal and Goldson / Helander for their defensive performance (Keeper should give them his win bonus to share between them ?)

Barisic was quite wasteful today, but he did put a couple of very good crosses including the one for the goal.

I went with Barkerinho, simply because he played well and no one else will give him a vote!

I have to keep asking what this is all about and I remind myself it isn't necessarily who scored the best goal, made the best pass or save the best strike by the opposition. It has to be the player who, overall, made the most telling contribution to the team performance, not his own. Which is why I decided my MOTM this week had to be Ryan Jack. Otherwise, there were no real failures in a much more positive team than we saw last week. Most telling was the speed with which the ball was moved forward by Davis and Jack.

The Roofe goal changed the game IMO, relaxed us (players and fans) and was therefore the biggest contribution to the game, however Kent was immense and MOTM for me especially considering the fact that he gave everything and remained 100% focused on his job despite a bid from an EPL club

Went for Kent, very direct and ran at Killie throughout, much better from him today. Barker a close second, tried hard without much success but kept coming back for more, hopefully there is a player in there after all that’s been well hidden thus far.

Both full backs getting assists is very pleasing, Helander made a couple of very timely interceptions, Jack & Davis played 20 yards further forward than Jack & Kamara have been playing and both even played some forward passes!

We look as if we have many gears still to go up, we still overpass and don’t take men on often enough in final third to create holes, but everyone done their job today apart from the keeper, who was completely redundant again. Just the way I like my keepers!
