Yeh I thought it would happen but knocking back £300k probably killed the thing dead even before Halkett’s injury which is probably the final nail in the coffin.

Another thing to remember is the changes coming up over the loan rules , a maximum of 8 about to be brought in , though it doesn’t count homegrown or U21s .Thats 8 out on loan and 8 in on loan .

I'd be surprised if he signed on just to be no. 2. After McGregor's howlers maybe this is a sign that he is about to become our official no. 1. I'd like to see McCrorie moved up to McLaughlin's place once Greegs retires.
