What a night. A HT tactical change by the Rangers manager saved us although VAR nonsense could have cost us. As shearer said on MOTD a few weeks ago simply having VAR isn’t enough. You need to know  to use it properly.

As delighted as I am at the result, I'm even more delighted for the young fans in our midst who get to savour what a Rangers team is capable of and what a European night at Ibrox looks like. It's been a slog since 2012 but our record in Europe over the past few years has been sensational. Rangers, are not to be trifled with in Europe. 

Tonight will live long in the memory.

Thought the atmosphere was generally poor.  Thought Dortmund ran all over us in the first half but our second half performance was absolutely immense.

 

Fans: 6/10.

Players: 8.5/10.

What? you're not being serious clearly, but didn't detect any sarcasm. Everyone else, including the players from both sides said the atmosphere was amazing/best they've experienced.

I thought it was poor.

 

The Dortmund fans did their generic Ultra crap and we spent the whole night waiting for things to happen.  We were noisy near the end but before that we were a crap support.

 

Shows how far standards are dropping if anyone thinks that was even acceptable, never mind good.

Absolutely buzzing , they are a real class act , but our top players turned up . Morelos had Hummels on toast , Kent was on fire , Bassey has made the left back spot his own , Macgregor had 3 worldies ,and what can you say about our Captain simply magnificent . Special mention to Ryan Jack and John Lundstram .

Not long back and what a performance and result. Dortmund showed in 1st have what a side they are.

 

The move to drop Lundstram deep effectively saved the tie.

 

Don't let anyone talk this down, Dortmund are one of the best teams to grace Ibrox in years.

Going by the first 45 minutes Barasic has finally been found out as a liability as a defender let's hope the manager realises this .
